Want
by Neel Chaudhari
Such a versatile feeling
is the feeling of want.
So many different things can it do.
It leads to peace, discoveries, and happiness.
It leads to war, death, and sorrow.
Want can unite the strongest of enemies
Want can destroy the deepest of friendship.
Want brought a man to the moon.
Want brought the world
to your pocket.
Want also loses people money in the thousands
Want killed presidents of this country.
Four times.
But why do we want?
Surely we want for a reason.
Want for knowledge brought man
to the moon.
Want for money and riches
caused millions of others to lose theirs.
Everyone wants something.
Me?
Friends, love, success
and LOTS of food.
Anything, really.
Anything to keep me happy.
Anything that keeps others happy,
too.
So does this mean most people want
happiness?
If this is true,
in this way,
your mind works the same way as,
say, Einstein. A figure everyone defines as a genius.
A figure everyone wants to be.
But to make this claim,
we need your thoughts.
So, tell me.
What is it that you want?
