Some Origami Animals

In my free time, I enjoy making origami creations. It is a good pass time, and is one of my favorite hobbies. Animals, including us humans, can be fun things to make with origami. I made these four origami animals. You can find links to the instructions underneath the images.

Fish (design by Davor Vinko)

I used this video by +Jo Nakashima  to help me make this:

Traditional Frog

This design is commonly known and is traditional origami. I used the instructions at this link:

Traditional Crane

This design is another traditional origami design. I have memorized the steps to make this crane, so I didn't use any instructions. Here is a good website that has instructions:

Pelican (design by Joshua Goutam)

I love pelicans! The original design by Joshua Goutam can be seen here in a video by +Tadashi Mori
I have made a few changes to the design. I used the video above for most parts, but then I made the pouch of the pelican's bill less flat, and made it like a real pouch.

Here is a photo of all them together:

My favorite is (obviously) the pelican. Sometimes, when I really like an origami model I made, I don't unfold and flatten it. The pelican is still on my desk.
